With over 35 years in the construction industry, Peter Behme (aka Pete), president of BLH, Inc., lends his past expertise as a licensed general contractor for custom homes and as a project supervisor for large multiplexes to every excavation project, whether large or small.
As the long-time owner of Behme Log Homes, Inc. of Fairplay, Colorado, Pete acquired his knowledge and skill as a general contractor as he supervised the construction of his handcrafted, custom log homes, personally completing most phases of the work himself.
When his daughter's diagnosis of a rare medical condition required him to relocate to the Denver metro area, Pete applied his knowledge of all phases of construction to the excavation of large multiplexes and custom homes with many of the developers requesting that he continue to work with them to supervise the completion of their projects. By 2013, the nature of the business had changed enough that it only made sense to change the business name to BLH, Inc.
Pete's experience in Summit, Park, Jefferson, Denver, and other metro counties includes excavating large scale multiplex sites and custom home foundations, installing septic systems, installing and replacing sewer/water lines, building boulder/block retaining walls, clearing job sites, removing trees and stumps, and constructing driveways.
Since joining the business in 2007, Pete's son Paul has developed expertise in the field while working with his father. Together, Pete and Paul head our team on every site to ensure that all work is of the highest quality.
